Transcendental Scream
By Angelo Valmoria Roxas
As the egg embodies the fragility and continuity of life, the painting upon it reflects the mysteries of the afterlife, serving as a tribute to my beloved brother, who passed away just a few months ago. Its imagery captures the delicate balance between presence and absence, memory and longing, transforming grief into a visual meditation on love and remembrance. Life, ever observed, unfolds in cycles, its fleeting moments reaching beyond the tangible, crying out into eternity, and leaving traces that endure in the hearts of those left behind.
